Delay In Completion Of Doctoral Programs In PhD Universities
Statistics shows that there is a major issue in successful completion of doctoral programs in phd universities in the US. This issue relates to the overall time required to successfully complete a doctoral program. It has been found that successful completion of a doctoral program takes far more time than the stipulated minimum period. On a median average, students have been taking roughly two years more to complete the program in 1992 than those who completed it in 1962. It has been further found that women take more time than men.
Doctoral programs in the humanities stream in PhD universities in the US take the maximum time to complete. They take more than ten years to complete.
