Walk in Bathtubs
The newest type of bathtub being installed in new homes today are the new walk in bathtubs which come in all colors, materials and with many different accessories. They have been designed with total safety in mind. The difference is the access door which you can open to enter the tub or exit the tub. There is also the new step in bathtub, where there is also a door that you can walk through to access the tub interior. This door is what makes it easier to enter the tub over the conventional type bathtub that we all grew up with. This access door is also used on the ‘slide in bathtub’ for those who must enter the bath from a wheelchair. This access door eliminates the old problem of having to step over the sides of the tub, while doing a balancing act, to take your bath.
