How can I convince my boss to make information security a priority? Why must executives always wait until a crisis occurs before taking action? Our company IS our IP. That’s all we are at the end of the day. Yet right now our doors are wide open to even the most rudimentary hacking techniques.
So I’ve been taking some time to learn about Data Center Security, to see if there;s a way I can convince my boss of its importance. Why is it that the idiots always end up in charge?
Next time my proposal gets rejected, I should get them to promise to stay up with me in the racks for as long as it takes to fix the next disaster that comes along. Maybe that will give them some perspective.
