Controlling Image Scanning Quality

There are four modes of image scanning generally, and these help you to control the quality of the image. The best image scanning quality is the full color mode, also known as the 24 bit mode. This provides large images of excellent quality, but the file size becomes larger. Then there is the indexed color mode or the 8 bit mode. These images are smaller in size. Grayscale comes next, which have 8 bit color and use only black, white and grays. Finally, there is a low resolution black and white mode, which has only 1 bit mode.
