The American Franchisee Association in View
In the United States, the main advocacy group that watches out for the interest of franchisees is the american franchisee association or the AFA. It operates at a national level and is heavily involved with improving the economic condition of franchisees throughout the country. It is also a regulatory body and deals with overseeing the enforcement of franchisee rules at both the state and federal level. It is an avowed advocate of the position of franchisees, though it will also impartially mediate between franchisors and franchisees in case of conflicts.
