The benefits of GPS truck tracking for truck operators
I recently had a problem with vehicle theft and keeping drivers accountable. Many drivers were using the vehicles outside of designated work zones. This was consuming fuel and additional wear and tear on the vehicle. I decided to investigate solutions for bringing this under control. One idea that looks promising is GPS truck tracking. By keeping a device located in the vehicle I can stay on tope of vehicle movements. This device can also be used through software to coordinate logistics requirements. It seems like a win/win to me.
