Patent On Ideas
No matter how brilliant your thought be unless it can be backed by cdn office experiments and the result are scientifically verifiable, you cannot obtain a patent. Patent is granted on products, processes and technologies but not as ideas but as practiced and experimented ways.
An idea is nothing more a thought with no concrete shape whatsoever. Patent on idea is not possible unless there is some tangible form to it. Someone might come up with an idea about how microchips could work better, but patent can be granted only when he shows how.
