NYS Disability Benefits Law Requirements
There are some states in the United States which allow for an individual to be disabled whenever they are not at work yet still receive disability benefits as if they were at work. New York State is one of those that gives this to their employees and is known as the NYS disability benefits law. Many people are able to take advantage of this particular law because of the fact that there are more disabilities that take place outside of work then take place in work.
