Roof Windows and Skylights Provide Ecology and Beauty
I am trying to design a home that will be as energy efficient as possible. I want it to take advantage of as much natural light as possible so that I will not have to use electricity for lighting until the sun goes down. To do this I am planning on using roof windows and skylights wherever possible. If I can orient the house properly on the lot I will have a home full of light from sun up to sun down. This will save me in lighting bills and heating bills as well. I am also impressed with what this type of lighting can do for the appearance of my new home.
