Recognizing ADHD In Children

Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a problem that is found in many children as well as adults.  You may recognize adhd symptoms in children such as having a hard time staying on task at school or at home.  Dealing with ADHD in a school setting can be especially daunting as it can disrupt the classroom environment and cause the other children to be distracted from their given tasks.  Studies show that ADHD is more common in boys than it is in girls.  They may be much more active than other children their age and ADHD may go undiagnosed and just be characterized as them being problem children.
